Choose your distance and join the runners in these picturesque races which connect emblematic villages of the Clarée Valley.

• 21 km half-marathon (400 m negative elevation gain): from Névache to Briançon, via the Clarée valley
• 10 km from La Clarée (negative altitude difference of 190 m): from Val-des-Prés to Briançon

On July 1st, from 9 am to 12 pm, the Col de l'Echelle road will be closed to car traffic and reserved for bicycles and mountain bikes! This initiative allows cyclists to enjoy the climb of this iconic pass in the Hautes-Alpes. Access is free and open to all, without registration or ranking.

A well-kept secret of the music world, the Haute Clarée Festival was created in 2014 around the great Chinese pianist Zhu Xiao-Mei, who is very attached to the valley where she comes regularly.
It takes place over several days in the month of August, in the intimate setting of the three magnificent churches of Névache which all sound like the best concert halls: the St Marcellin church (early 16th century), the St Sébastien church (early 16th century) and the St Hippolyte chapel (11th century). century).

The Névache festival is back for a new edition at the place called Les Planchettes (opposite the hamlet of Le Cros)!
From 14pm, come and experience a festive and joyful day with games for young and old.

A year and a half of work to secure the line

The railway line was closed on August 27, 2023, following a major landslide in the Maurienne Valley near La Praz, near Modane (Savoie). Several tons of rock damaged the tracks and jeopardized the safety of the site.
