This level 2 discovery stay will allow you to marvel at the landscapes of Clarée during short days of hiking. These 5 routes were chosen for their accessibility and their character. You want to discover (or rediscover) the postcard landscapes that make the valley famous, so don't hesitate, they are only a few steps away from you!

Every evening when you return to the hotel, you will find the cozy comfort of our chalet where you can relax in our Spa.

PROGRAM OF THE HIKING HOLIDAY IN THE CLARÉE VALLEY:

• Sunday: Reception at the hotel in the afternoon and installation.
• Monday : Source and lake of Clarée
  For this first day, we suggest you go back to the source! Departing from Laval, at the end of the road, the upper valley reveals itself, majestic with its surrounding peaks...

  A magnificent progression along the singing notes of the river to its source: the path stretches along its clear and rapid waters to arrive at the gates of Haute Maurienne.

  Elevation gain: + and – 400m / Approximate walking time: 3 to 4 hours
• Tuesday: Vallon des Thures and Lake Chavillon
  The Thures mountain pasture allows passage through the narrow Névachaise Valley enclave in Italy.

  The forest climb takes place gradually and leads to a green hanging valley, a vast summer pasture for one of the valley's transhumant herds. Crossing the plateau will take you to the lake. A magical viewpoint welcomes you there, in a setting of dolomitic mountains, facing the mythical summit of Thabor.

• Wednesday: Laramon Lake and Serpent Lake
  Perched at an altitude of 2359 meters, Lake Laramon, the jewel of the Hautes Alpes, is undoubtedly THE postcard of the valley! After this lake, we will continue the path which gradually rises in order to appreciate this belvedere facing the Écrins dome and to reach the Lac du Serpent.

• Thursday : Chardonnet refuge and valley
  The departure from Foncouverte is quite steep then softens a little before arriving at the Chardonnet refuge nestled in the middle of a green setting which invites a break. Shortly after the refuge we will reach the lake of the same name as well as the Châtelard lake marking the entrance to the magnificent Chardonnet valley.

• Friday: Lac Long and Lac Rond des Muandes
  Between mountain streams, rhododendrons and alpine flora, this essential loop of Haute Clarée allows you to discover two lakes nestled at the end of the world, offering a breathtaking view of the Cerces massif.

• On Saturday: End of stay after breakfast.
