You will discover the Clarée Valley on cross-country skiing and snowshoeing with our Guide, far from the noise and the world of the big alpine ski resorts. And you may meet one of the many animals that still inhabit our mountains...And all this in the sun and fresh air!

Not to be missed: the introductory session on driving teams with our mushers: after a short theoretical training of 20 minutes to familiarize yourself with the dogs, to understand driving and to know the safety instructions, you will drive your sled pulled by 40 or 3 dogs, malamutes and huskies, for around 4 minutes, in following the musher's main sled. It’s sporty, it’s fun, and the dogs are adorable! An unforgettable experience !

PROGRAM

• Sunday : Welcome to Névache in the afternoon of the 1st day. In the evening, welcome drink and information meeting.
• Monday  : Activities of your choice in 2 half-days on the Nordic area of ​​Névache.
• Tuesday : Activities of your choice in 2 half-days on the Nordic area of ​​Névache. Possibility of a day out on snowshoes.
• Wednesday : Cross-country skiing, technical course (possibility of skating), snowshoeing, half-day. Half day of relaxation in the afternoon.
• Thursday and Friday : Day hikes in the Haute Vallée de Névache, or Col de l’Echelle, or Basse Vallée on cross-country skis or snowshoes. Possibility if a small group of people request it to be able to access Nordic hiking in the valleys of Buffère, Acles or Granon, etc.
• Saturday : End of stay after breakfast.

N.B.: The activity sleigh dogs will take place the first 3 days from Monday to Wednesday, morning or afternoon depending on the availability of the musher and the dogs.

Children (4 to 15 years old)

They will be able to practice several activities: a snow animation for the little ones and cross-country skiing lessons for older children will be organized.

Snow animation (4 years to 7 years) : Cross-country ski lessons in the morning, Monday to Friday, in collaboration with the Névache Ski School. We take care of taking the children to ski lessons and picking them up: 5 half-days of cross-country skiing supervision. In the afternoon, there will be games in the snow near the hotel (sledding, snowman, etc.).

Cross-country skiing trip (from 7 years to 12 years) : Cross-country skiing lessons in the morning, fun cross-country skiing in the afternoon (ski-hockey, biathlon, etc.) + 1 trapper day on Thursday or Friday depending on the weather: 9 half-days of supervision.
Children are grouped by age and level groups.

From 12 years old to 15 years old : either they can follow the stays with the adults, or there are enough of them to be together and form a youth group: Nordic Adventure, biathlon, Nordic hiking, ski orientation, night in a refuge, etc. (Supplement €100).

On snowshoes, they can come with us from 8 years old for half a day.

Sledding activity : the responsibility of the parents apart from other activities. We can lend you the sleds.
