Into the Wild: snowshoeing holiday with guide in Névache

Departing from Névache, you will discover a new snowy landscape every day:

• the hamlet of Acles nestled in its valley, where the houses are covered in a white coat of snow
• the Upper Clarée Valley with its succession of summer pasture hamlets and chapels
• the Thures plateau bordered by its peaks…

During these hikes, you will certainly encounter ibexes, deer, chamois or, why not, a wolf!
Our guide will show you their tracks in the snow, and will help you discover the treasures of adaptation deployed by the wildlife and flore to survive the rigors of winter. Snowshoes on your feet, you will browse the “ Great White » at your own pace and in complete safety.
After a day in the great outdoors, back at the hotel, you will enjoy our Relaxation Area with sauna and jacuzzi.

PROGRAM :

• Sunday : Check-in in the afternoon at Chalet d’en Hô. In the evening, welcome drink and presentation of the week.
• Monday : 2 half-days to discover the beautiful Nordic site of Clarée, between Plampinet and Névache. 50 to 100 meters of elevation change 10 to 15 km 4 to 5 hours of walking
• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday : Day hikes in the different valleys of Basse or Haute Clarée. Your guide will choose the hike according to the level of the participants, the weather and snow conditions, among: the Col de l'Echelle, the Vallon des Acles, the Vallon des Thures, the Vallon de Buffère, the Vallon du Granon, the Upper Clarée Valley. 400 to 800 meters of elevation gain, 4 to 6 hours of walking.
• Saturday : End of stay after breakfast.

DATES:

Stay with arrival on Sunday and departure on Saturday, from 14/01/2024 to 23/03/2024
except the week of New Year's Day from Monday 1/01 to Sunday 7/01final match.

DETAILS OF THE SNOWSHOEING HOLIDAY:

• 6 nights full board from Sunday to Saturday
• 5 days of snowshoeing supervised by a state-certified guide (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
