MULTI-ACTIVITY WINTER HOLIDAY PROGRAM

• Sunday : Welcome to Névache in the afternoon of the 1st day. In the evening, welcome drink and information meeting.
• Monday  Cross-country skiing or snowshoeing, depending on availability, over two half-days in the Névache Nordic area. Please note that the stay generally begins with cross-country skiing (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday).
• Tuesday Cross-country skiing or snowshoeing, depending on availability, over two half-days in the Névache Nordic area. A full-day snowshoeing trip is also possible.
• Wednesday, Thursday and Friday : Day hikes to discover the magnificent site of the Haute Vallée de La Clarée and its summer chalets buried under the snow, the very beautiful cirque of the Col de l'Echelle, or to have fun on the area traced up to Bass Clarée.
• Saturday : End of stay after breakfast.

N.B.: The activity sleigh dogs will take place the first 2 days: Monday or Tuesday afternoon, depending on the availability of the musher and his dogs.

DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES

Cross-country skiing
You too are impatient to do everything: in the morning it is the learning of cross-country skiing, so light but still cumbersome. With a lot of patience, your instructors will find plenty of tips to help you slide, turn, brake, and quickly it will be the pleasure of sliding along the Clarée then, of passing the small bumps, the turning step, the snowplough and the skating.
For the more experienced, we have a cross-country skiing only stay. Cross-country skiing in Névache"

Racket
On snowshoes, after discovering Névache and its hamlets, you will venture on the trail of the white hare, the wild boar, the roe deer and perhaps even the wolf. Day hikes will take you higher into the mountain pastures and towards the refuges and you will surely see the Massifs des Ecrins and Vanoise in the distance.

Cross-country skiing off-track
The other way to do cross-country skiing. After the initiation at the beginning of the week, you will discover the unmarked routes of the upper Clarée valley or the Col de l'Echelle by setting off for the day.
Your cross-country skis will be equipped with seal skins to facilitate the ascent. You will be able to enjoy sliding downhill. Another way to discover cross-country skiing and our beautiful valley.

Sled Dogs OPTIONAL
And the sled dogs, you've been waiting for so long, here they are! You'll finally pet them, put their harnesses on them, harness them up and try to steer the team: left, right, stop! Be careful! They're smart and they'll quickly let you push the team and rest! There will be 6 to 8 of you for the half-day and you'll take turns on the sleds. You'll have about 45 minutes of driving.
At the beginning of the session, you will have about 15 minutes of theory on dogs to familiarize yourself with them and the musher will give you instructions regarding safety and driving your own team: 1 or more teams follow the musher's school sled. If there are more of you than there are sleds, you will take turns driving.
But be careful! This activity is optional (€95): you can easily sign up for the Multi-activities snow to alternate between snowshoeing and cross-country skiing and not want to try driving a dog sled team.
