Practical information to prepare your mountain stay
in the Clarée valley in Névache

INTERNET

Free WIFI access throughout the hotel, computer loan possible.

RECEPTION

Open from 8:00 a.m. to 21:30 p.m.

KEYS

On your keychain:

• The Silver Key is the key to your room.
• The Key with a notch is the key to the main entrance door. To close, raise the handle fully before turning the key.

MEAL

• Breakfast: from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. (in room: + €3/pers.)
• Dinner: 19:30 p.m. to 20:00 p.m.

SPA & MASSAGES

The relaxation area is open from 15:00 p.m. to 19:00 p.m.
Swimwear is obligatory. Use first the hot tub, then the sauna (this is for hygiene reasons, thank you!).
Bathrobes in your room are provided free of charge. Slippers are free!
Personalized massages are possible upon reservation, ask for rates at reception.

RETURN FROM SKIING / HIKING

We thank you foraccess the hotel via the basement entrance (South terrace staircase), where you will find shoe dryers and can store your equipment.

The Chalet d’en Hô sorts its waste, saves water and pollutes less by only changing towels on request, uses LED bulbs, uses only eco-labeled cleaning products… Read here to learn more about our commitment to sustainable development.

Some ideas that can be applied during your stay at Chalet d’en Hô:

• Sort your waste :
  in the hotel in your room: waste paper basket and bathroom trash can; in the basement facing the Spa : 2 sorting bins with a yellow bin for cardboard, packaging and plastics and a green bin for glass.
  Outside, you will find containers in front of the school (200 m on the left when leaving the hotel): one for packaging and paper, one for glass, one for unfolded boxes, and one for household waste.
• Turn off the lights from your room when you are not there.
• Do not let water run unnecessarily: we may have the impression that there is a lot of water in the mountains, however this natural resource is a precious asset to share with the nature that surrounds us.

BABIES

Equipment available at the chalet on request: baby bed, high chair, bottle warmer, changing mat.

ANIMALS

Pets accepted in the room on request (additional charge), but not in the restaurant room.

• Around the chalet: hikes (discover the 10 most beautiful in the valley here), mountain biking, climbing, canyoning, fishing in rivers or high altitude lakes,
• nearby: tennis, horse riding, white water sports, via ferrata, paragliding, tree climbing, Briançon aquatic center, large Bains de Mônetier, etc.

Hikes accompanied by a donkey are also possible, ask us!

SUMMER SHUTTLE

In high season (approximately 10/07 to 20/08), you can leave your car at the chalet and travel around the Vallée de La Clarée using the summer shuttle.

• Snowshoeing,
• Sleigh dogs,
• Cross-country Skiing : the chalet is located at the start of the cross-country ski trails and right next to theESF ski school!
• Ski touring,
• Alpine Skiing : children and adults will be able to go downhill skiing thanks to our two ski lifts which serve a green slope: Champ Bellet, and a red slope: Bois Noir (open on weekends and school holidays). Moreover, 2 large stations are located nearby, 35 minutes from the hotel : Serre-Chevalier (250 km of slopes) and Montgenèvre-Voie Lactée (450 km of slopes),
• Cascades de Glace from Briançon.
